We are living through a genuine shift in how technical work gets done. AI tools and the broader ecosystem of AI agents have changed how people in the tech industry approach their roles/work. I started my career right before this wave hit, which means I'm in a strange middle ground. I didn't get decades of deep programming fundamentals before AI showed up, but I also know enough to understand that "just have AI do it" is not always a feasible strategy.
I believe that a human knowing how to think through a problem is what helps them make AI tools actually useful and productive. It is not always easy to know how to do that, and if you can't break a problem down, you can't prompt your way out of it. The goal of this site is to try my hand at building complex things, understanding how and where AI will fit in and talking about interesting things going on right now in the industry.
